At least 40 people are injured after a double bombing struck a shopping center in southern Thailand. Two bombs went off in the town of Pattani near a shopping mall in the city center around 2 p.m. in what is suspected to be a car bombing attack. The second bomb is believed to have been detonated as bystanders fled from the second explosion. Pictures posted on social media show damage from the explosions and smoke hovering over the supermarket.
