New updates after the arrest of The Bachelor’s Chris Soules for allegedly fleeing the scene of a fatal accident… According to The New York Post’s Page Six, the reality TV star actually called 911, requested medical help, and checked the pulse of the victim.

It’s reported that Soules told 911 operators that he “rear-ended a guy on a tractor,” which led to the death of a 66-year-old farmer.

Apparently it was clear that other witnesses were at the scene where the farmer reportedly was in a ditch, unconscious, but then Soules left before emergency responders arrived.

Soules has since been arrested and charged for leaving the crash scene, but has since posted bond and has been released from jail.

Those close to Soules reportedly say that the reality TV star is “devastated” after learning the accident led to the farmer’s death.
