In a long interview with CNN’s Smerconish this morning, Carter Page made it clear that he’s more angry about being monitored by the FBI than he is by the possibility that the Russians were trying to use him to infiltrated the Trump campaign.

Ironically, both the Trump administration and the Russians are now calling Page much too stupid to be used to infiltrate anything.

Page stays on point though – he’s pushing the Trump line that the only wrongdoing here is on the part of U.S. intelligence officials investigating him. He’s absolutely sure that they had no reason to suspect him, despite admitting that he did indeed talk to a Russian spy, and that he gave an anti-Western pro-Russian speech in Moscow…
