Thousands rallied on the National Mall in Washington, DC, on April 22 for the March for Science. This video shows the march in front of the National Gallery of Art.

The event started at 9 am, and the demonstrators started marching at 2 pm, despite heavy rain.

Crowds gathered in towns and cities worldwide to protest against negative political interference in scientific research and development. The marches coincided with Earth Day.
