A 3,100-acre wildfire threatened homes in Collier County, Florida, on Friday, April 21, sparking mandatory evacuation orders for more than 2,000 homes, and prompting Gov. Rick Scott to deploy National Guard resources to help battle the blaze.

Multiple agencies were working against the fire, which was just 10 percent contained on Friday afternoon, officials said.

This footage shows a helicopter making a water drop on what has been named the 30th Avenue Fire.
