The Indian army staged a military parade at the headquarters of the Army Command in New Delhi to celebrate Army Day and pay tribute to soldiers who lost their lives on duty.
Indian Army Day is celebrated on 15 January each year, paying tribute to Lt General KM Cariappa, the Indian Army's first Commander-in-Chief, after gaining independence.
