Taiwan held a military parade on Saturday to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the defeat of Japan in the Sino-Japanese War and the end of World War II. The event was to spotlight an old but often forgotten claim that Taiwan's forces and not the Communists who took over China routed the Japanese in World War II.
