Strong storms triggered tornado warnings in Houston on Wednesday, March 29. The National Weather Service said it had not received any reports or confirmations of an actual tornado.
Gusty winds and heavy rains were reported in the area. The storms caused more than a dozen flights to be diverted from Bush Intercontinental Airport. Thousands were without power.
