Warning sirens were heard throughout Nashville, Tennessee, on the evening of November 18 after a tornado touched down southeast of the city in the late afternoon.
A tornado touched down near Woodbury, about 50 miles southeast of Nashville, around 5:41 pm, the National Weather Service said. The storm damaged buildings and toppled power lines, leading to electricity outages across thousands of homes, the Tennessean reported.
