Australia have tighten the grip on the Pune Test as of now. The visitors were all out at 285 in an extended Lunch session on the day 3 of the Pune Test. Australia started the days play at 143 for 4 and since then they added 142 runs in their total lead of 440 runs. India now need a mammoth 441 runs on this hard pitch to win this Test Match. The major happening in the morning has been Steve Smith's well struck century on the tough pitch of Pune, which has absolutely nothing for the batters. Yes, Steve smith has hit a century in the second inning against India on the third day in the ongoing Test. It seems that the stars are against India including the umpires. India faced big disappointments when steve smith was not given out a couple of times. Australian wicketkeeper-batsman Wade was also given life on Umesh Yadav's bowling when he clearly hit the out going delivery and was caught behind the wickets by Saha. However he got out in the same over. For India, R Ashwin took 4 wickets, Ravindra Jadeja clinched 3, Umesh Yadav 2 and Jayant Yadav settled for one even in the second inning.
