No one from the deep Indian batting line up performed up to their standard and were decimated by the Australian bowling completely. O'Keefe proved to be the wreker in chief for Australia, he picked up 12 wickets in the First Test match with 6 in each innings. This is going to haunt india now.. Australia won an important toss, batted decent enough in the first innings and scored 260. they changed the game with fantastic cricket.Australia have been simply unstoppable in this test. The 3 highlight performances by Mitchell Starc, Steve O'Keefe and the skipper Steven Smith outclassed India absolutely. There were some good contributions from Renshaw, Warner and Lyon. Australia, who have been the only team in this home summer to simply outplay India.
