Not so long time ago, we had told you that Deepika Padukone would be teaming up with Aamir Khan for Farhan Akhtar's next, a time-travel drama. However, Aamir walked out leaving the leading lady without a man as he couldn't agree about remuneration and commercial clauses with Excel Entertainment. Anyways, looks like the filmmakers have found the male lead. We hear that Deepika Padukone will be romancing Hrithik Roshan in the time-travel drama film.

The film is going to be directed by Nitya Mehra, who was the assistant director on films like Life of Pi, The Reluctant Fundamentalist and Don. A source was quoted by a popular daily, "The film is a sci-fi drama with a time-travel spin. It has a romantic angle which spans across timelines. When the script went to Hrithik, he was impressed and promptly agreed to come on board."

Well, Dippy had openly expressed her desire to work with the light-eyed Greek God of B-town. So we're sure she will be elated with the progress, no? Reportedly, the film will go on floors in February 2015 and by then Deepika should be done shooting for Karan Johar's Shuddhi, the film from which Hrithik walked out
