Dolphins are one of the most recognizable and beloved creatures in the sea, and have been the subject of much study over the years.

Dolphins are uniquely built, like a torpedo in the water. They typically swim in the 3 to 7 mile per hour range, but when needed they can accelerate to over 20 miles per hour!

Their ability to swim so fast baffled researchers for many years. It has been determined that their powerful tails provide the thrust needed for such speeds.

Dolphins navigate using Echolocation, which is essentially sonar. They send out sounds and listen to the echo that bounces back. That tells them exactly what is around them, and where their prey is when hunting.

Hubbard's marina operates two large party boats or head boats plus a 12 passenger private charter boat. Our party boats run 5 hour,10 hour, 12 hour and 39 hour trips!

Our 12 hour and 39 hour trips are our specialty trips where you can catch the amberjack and red snapper, and we fish in over 120 foot where the big grouper and plentiful snapper roam. Come out and see us!
