In the first half of 2016, two more militants released from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, have returned to fighting, the U.S. government said. A total of nine people freed from Guantanamo have rejoined militant groups since President Barack Obama took office in 2009, according to a report. 113 of the 532 detainees released by Bush - 21.2% - have returned to fighting, while the nine detainees released since 2009 who re-engaged, are only 5.6 percent of the prisoners freed by Obama.
