Quickbooks Slow in Multi User Mode

I am the geek! I do however very much appreciate you taking the time. Ther problem is not the hardware though. I'm convinced its something in Quickbooks. When the Company file is opened from another machine on the LAN it opens very rapidly in Multi User mode if we use the Admin ID. If we use any other ID
it takes 5 mins for it to open. I have also received a couple of response to this forum by people who have told me they have the same problem. One stated she was talking into going to the 10 user version as the performance was supposed to be faster but still had the same problem. Intuit blew me off even though I experienced this problem on the install. The tech worked with me but had to go and told me I could call back the next day and Intuit would continue the call as an initial install problem. When I called back the next day I was blown off. We are thinking about just returning the product under the three month warranty and going to another product. I am beginning to think we wont be able to resolve this one. Our hardware is all very fast Pentium 4's. We are only trying to run 2 users at a time. The LAN
only has 3 machines on it and it is running 100mbps.This is a Quickbooks or data problem - I just dont know how to isolate. I did find when I diasble the non-admin ID from Payroll we can get in quickly. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.

Thank you.
