Tibetan student activists stage street play

Dharamshala, May 04 (ANI): To observe the World Press Freedom Day, NGO Students for a Free Tibet on Wednesday and staged a street play in Dharamsala to amplify the case of imprisoned Tibetan writer and intellectual Shokjang Drukar Gyal. The play highlighted how Shokjang was treated by the Chinese court of law. Tibetan activists organised the event to bring to light the plight of other writers who are suffering under Chinese communist party's regime. They also started a signature campaign calling for the immediate release of the Tibetan writer.
