Shutdown observed in Kashmir Valley over Handwara incident

Srinagar, Apr 13 (ANI): Normal life was hit in Srinagar on Wednesday as shutdown was observed in the Valley to protest the killings of two youths in firing by security forces in Kupwara’s Handwara city yesterday. The two boys were killed while they were protesting alleged molestation of a female by Army jawan. Assuring strict action, Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti said that those responsible will be punished and families of victims will be given compensation. All shops, schools, business establishments and government offices have been closed and the public transport is off from the roads.
