New Delhi, Apr.8 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 11.58 points down to stand at 24,673.84. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 8.75 points up to stand at 7,555.20. Jindal Steel and Power Ltd and Page Industries Ltd were among the top gainers of group A with an increase of 10.62% and 6.65% along with Welspun Corp Limited and Manappuram Finance Ltd with an increase of 6.35% and 6.01 % respectively, while the top losers of group A includes IPCA Laboratories Ltd and Sobha Limited with a decrease of 10.61% and 3.49 % along with BEML Ltd and TV18 Broadcast Ltd with a decrease of 3.31 % and 3.26 % at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 13.33points at 17463.09 while the Banking sector is up 37.66 points at 17695.16 and the Realty sector is up 17.61 points at 1243.16. The Indian currency remains unchanged with Rs. 66.59per dollar.
