Judah Iscariot belonged to the Judah tribe and so was the Temple Priests were mostly of the Judah tribe very proud of the knowledge of dead letters like these University Professors devoid of holy spirit or common sense. They were greatly pleased and agreed to give him money. So he consented and began to look for an opportunity to betray him to them when no crowd was present.
