New Delhi, Feb 04 (ANI): Dalit students at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, on Thursday lodged a complaint against one of the student for using “abusive language” and hurting the sentiment of the Dalit community. Speaking on the incident, Dalit student Prashant Kalojia said Uttkarsh Singh (another IIMC student) had used derogatory language against the community in a Facebook post, adding that the collage authority did not give any solution to their problem. Meanwhile, Uttkarsh said that the entire incident is just a personal vendetta and added that he had apologised for his post. Whereas, college official RK Chawla said this issue has been politicised unnecessarily and added it is a conspiracy to tarnish IIMC’s image.
