African Australian students report derogatory treatment

A survey has found that more than 90 percent of African Australian students have witnessed racism in school. Students say they are often subjected to extremely offensive and derogatory language. The Ubuntu Project, which conducted the survey says there is little understanding of the harm students with African backgrounds are experiencing. The project's Nor Shanino says he is not shocked by the findings.
