Dragon*Con is an annual event which takes place in four downtown best atlanta hotel during Labor Day weekend. Those hotels are: The Hyatt Regency, the Marriott Marquis, the downtown Hilton and more recently, the downtown Sheraton. The Con encompasses almost every aspect of science fiction and fantasy fandom, including comics, games, movies, anime, television, music, books, and Internet phenomena like The Guild and Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog.

If you need caffeine and/or a break from Starbucks, Caribou coffee is right above the station in the Peachtree Center Mall. There is a Starbucks across the street as well.
FanFest runs from 2:30-6:30pm at the Georgia World Congress Center, Halls C1-C4. This is the premier destination for family fun, games, passing and kicking competitions, obstacle courses, and a rock climbing wall. Fans can meet each team's band, cheerleaders, and mascot at the pep rally. Food and official Peach Bowl merchandise will be available for purchase. Admission to FanFest is $17. The MVP Tailgate Party will be held at the Georgia World Congress Center from 4-7pm. A $60 ticket includes food, beverages, and entertainment.
