For a beer or a casual spot to get a bite, Meehan's is a short walk away from the station. On Friday's you can listen to live music. Take the Harris Street exit off the train platform and follow the signs to Peachtree Street West. At street level, turn right and walk about a block.
Booth Western Art Museum - Located in Cartersville about 30 miles northwest of best atlanta hotel, this museum features 120,000 square feet of Western American art, Civil War art, and Presidential letters and portraits. Upcoming temporary exhibits will feature pictures of Yellowstone National Park and photographs from Ansel Adams. Tours are available daily except for Mondays. Adult admission is $10.
