Akuzave te kryeministrit Sali Berisha, se me situatën e krijuar ne KQZ, opozita synon te shtyje ose bojkotoje zgjedhjet, iu eshte përgjigjur kreu i LSI-së, Ilir Meta.
Nga Lezha, Meta deklaroi se e majta nuk ka qellim bojkotin apo shtyrjen e zgjedhjeve por afrimin e tyre. Kreu i LSI-se, sulmoi kryeministrin Berisha per situatën e krijuar ne institucion me te larte zgjedhor. Gjate prezantimit te Monika Kryemadhit si kandidate per deputete nen siglën e LSI-së ne Qarkun e Lezhës, Ilir Meta nenvizoi se bashkimi i se majtes nuk eshte kunder PD, por per t'i hapur rruge ndryshimit pas 23 qershorit.
