Shqipëria, Greqia dhe Italia kane nënshkruar ne mesdite ne Athine marrëveshjen per projektin e gazsjellësit transadriatik, "TAP". Pakti trepalësh është firmosur ne kryeqytetin grek nga zv/kryeministri njëkohësisht nga ministri i ekonomisë dhe energjetikes Edmond Haxhinasto, ministri i jashtëm grek Dimitris Avramopulos dhe ministri italian për zhvillim Korrado Passera. Firmosja e kësaj marrëveshjeje strategjike, është ndjekur edhe nga ndihmës sekretari amerikan i shtetit Erik Rubin, i cili ndodhet për vizite ne Greqi.
Gazsjellësi "TAP" është një projekt me rendësi strategjike per kontributin e pritshëm ekonomik për te tre vendet. Vetëm ne Shqipëri për këtë projekt do te kryhen 2 miliard euro investime dhe pritet te hapen rreth 20 mije vende pune. Gazsjellësi "TAP" qe do te kaloje nga deti Kaspik, do te furnizoje me gaz natyror Evropën perëndimore. Ndërkohë procesi i zgjedhjes se projektit me te mire, do te behet ne muajin mars nga konsorciumi Shah Deniz ne Azerbajxhan ndërsa vendimi final merret ne qershor. "Nabuko test" ishte projekti konkurrues i "TAP", por kostoja e këtij te fundit ishte me e ulet për shkak te distancës me te vogël.

Albania, Greece and Italy have signed noon in Athens Deal for Trans gas pipeline project, "TAP". Tripartite Pact was signed in the Greek capital by Vice / Prime at the same time by the Minister of Economy and Energy Edmond Haxhinasto, Greek Foreign Minister Dimitris Avramopoulos and Italian Minister for Development korrado Passera. The signing of this strategic agreement, is followed by U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Eric Rubin, who is on visit to Greece.
Pipeline "TAP" is a project of strategic importance for the expected economic contribution for the three countries. Only in Albania for the project will be carried out 2 billion euros in investment and is expected to open around 20 thousand jobs. Pipeline "TAP" to be running from the Caspian Sea, will supply natural gas to Western Europe. While the process of selecting the best project will be done in March from Shah Deniz consortium in Azerbaijan and the final decision taken in June. "Nabucco test" was a competitive project "TAP", but the cost of the latter was lower because of less distance.
