Skandali i refuzimit te mbikëqyrjes parlamentare ne Ministrinë e Mbrojtjes ka dominuar mbledhjen e pare te Komisionit te Sigurisë për këtë sesion parlamentar. Përfaqësuesit e opozitës kane përsëritur kërkesën për zbatimin e vendimeve te këtij komisioni dhe për te kontrolluar veprimtarinë e Ministrisë qe drejtohet nga Arben Imami, por e vetmja përgjigje qe kane marre nga mazhoranca ka qene se rregullorja ua njeh këtë te drejte deputeteve te Kuvendit. Pjese e debateve ne Komision ka qene edhe emërimi i drejtorit te ri te shërbimit sekret, për te cilin deputet e opozitës kane kërkuar seance dëgjimore. Ndërkaq, akuzat e kryeministrit Berisha për implikim te ish-Presidentit Topi ne vrasjen e gjyqtarit Konomi janë përcjellë me humor ne Komisionin e Sigurisë, ku opozita ka propozuar qe te merren flokët e zotit Topi dhe te krahasohen me flokët e gjetura ne vendin e krimit.
