Partia Socialiste ka përforcuar akuzat në drejtim të Ministrisë së Mbrojtjes duke e akuzuar atë për përgjime politike të deputeteve socialiste që në ngjarjen e 21 janarit 2011 ku katër persona u vranë e shume të tjerë e plagosen. Nënkryetari i Komisionit te Sigurisë Kombëtare, Ilir Gjoni, i është referuar burimeve të sigurta brenda Ministrisë së Mbrojtjes, por dhe deklaratave të kryeministrit Berisha, për të përforcuar faktin se Ministria ka shkelur kushtetutën duke u përdorur për interesa të ngushta të Imamit dhe Berishës. Ilir Gjoni tha se Ministria e drejtuar nga Arben Imami, qe refuzoi kontrollin parlamentar, është institucioni me i mbyllur e me korruptiv qe po cenon edhe standardet e NATO-s. Ai i kujtoi ministrit Imami te marre te dhëna për te mësuar se kush është biznesmeni serb qe është ortak me
bashkëshorten e Ylli Zyles, ne kompaninë qe merret me tregtinë e armeve.
