Pavarësisht kostove te energjisë qe sa vijnë e rriten, te ndikuara edhe nga dimri i thate ne te gjithë rajonin e Ballkanit, shqiptaret nuk do te kenë probleme me furnizimin jo vetëm për periudhën e festave te fundvitit, por edhe për muajt e tjerë ne vazhdim. Kjo është garancia qe jep drejtori i përgjithshëm i KESH-it, Engjëll Zeqo, i cili, i ftuar ne emisionin "ZIP" ne "Vizion Plus" theksoi se janë mbyllur kontratat e importit, edhe pse ka pasur një rritje te çmimit, nga mesatarja prej 60 eurosh për megavat/ore ne 100 euro për megavat/ore. Duke komentuar vendimin e ERE-s për te mos rritur çmimin e energjisë, zoti Zeqo tha se ky institucion veproi ne mbrojtje te konsumatorit, edhe pse ekziston një diference e madhe mes çmimit te energjisë te blere nga KESH dhe atij te shitjes për kompaninë e shpërndarjes "CEZ". Duke komentuar gjendjen ne kaskaden e Drinit, drejtori i Kesh theksoi se aty është pezulluar për momentin prodhimi, për te lejuar rritjen e nivelit te ujerave, ndërsa konstatoi se ne përgjithësi gjate këtij viti është shënuar një rritje e konsumit te energjisë.
