Delegacioni i përbashkët i Komisionit te Venecias dhe OSBE/ODIHR qe ndodhet ne Tirane është takuar me ministrin e jashtëm Edmond Haxhinasto me te cilin ka biseduar rreth reformës elektorale dhe zbatimit te rekomandimeve te bëra ne dy zgjedhjet e fundit.
Pas takimit, përfaqësuesi i Komisionit te Venecias Thomas Markert tha se qëllimi është përmirësimi i kodit ne mënyrë qe te shmangen problemet ne te ardhmen. "Komisioni i Venecias është sot këtu me këtë delegacion, për te pare se çfarë mund te përmirësohet ne te ardhmen ne ligjin zgjedhor, ne mënyrë qe te shmangen krizat politike ne te ardhmen. Ne do te zhvillojmë disa takime me zyrtare te larte dhe partitë politike për te pare opinionet e tyre. Dua te theksoj se me ne janë edhe përfaqësues te OSBE/ODIHR dhe se rekomandimet e bëra prej tyre do te diskutohen. Por opinioni final do te jepet ne sesionin e Komisionit te Venecias qe zhvillohet ne datat 16 dhe 17 dhjetor. E rëndësishme është qe tani palët te kenë dialog, për te vijuar me pas me te tjerat," u shpreh Markert. Ndërsa ministri Haxhinasto shprehu vullnetin e qeverise për te bere ndryshimet e duhura ne kodin elektoral. Delegacioni pritet qe te japë konkluzionet e takimeve ditën e marte, ne një konference për shtyp.
