E gjithë zona përreth i është nënshtruar tashme një numri te pafund pallatesh ne një distance vetëm pak metër nga liqeni. Ambjentalistet kërkojnë qe parku te marri statusin e një zone te gjelbër duke ndaluar çdo lloj projekti tjetërsimi. Specialistet sqarojnë se ngordhja e peshqve ka ndodhur si pasoje e lëshimit te një substance helmuese nga algat me te cilat është mbushur liqeni. Specialistet hedhin idenë e lidhjes se kësaj pjese me Liqenin e Farkës për te mundësuar ciklimin e ujit te pastër dhe mbijetesën e gjallesave ne te.
