Burime nga grupi hetimor bëjnë me dije se personat qe janë marre ne pyetje janë kryesisht te afërm te gjyqtarit, kolege te tij, ndërsa aktualisht janë duke u pyetur edhe disa pronare tokash ne Hamallaj dhe Gjirin e Lalezit. Pista kryesore ne te cilën po heton prokuroria është ajo e konfliktit te pronave megjithatë nuk është përjashtuar ende edhe pista vrasjes për shkak te detyrës. Hetimi i kësaj te fundit është kompetence e prokurorisë se krimeve te renda. Grupi hetimor është ndare ne tre pjese një ne policinë e Vlorës, ndërsa dy grupet e tjera ne Prokurorinë e krimeve te renda dhe policinë e shtetit. Për te hedhur drite mbi këtë ngjarje, prej disa ditësh hetuesit po verifikojnë me imtësi qindra telefonata qe janë kryer rreth kufirit 09:00 deri ne 09:05 te mëngjesit te ditës se premte pranë vendit ky ndodhi shpërthimi. Verifikimi ne këtë drejtim është ne fazën fillestare, por hetuesit shpresojnë te lokalizojnë numrin qe ka aktivizuar telefonin bombe, me 500 grame tritol qe ishte vendosur nga autoret poshtë sediljes ku ishte ulur Skerdilajd Konomi. Ndonëse ka kaluar një muaj nga vrasja, hetimi është ende ne fazën e verifikimit, ndërsa nuk ka asnjë autor te dyshuar për vrasjen.
