Last night Guatemalan President Otto Perez Molina stated in a national press conference that he will not resign. His denial flies in the face of information released by Guatemala’s Attorney General and the National Anti-Impunity Commission of the president’s leadership in the corruption case known as “La Linea,” in which government officials deviated funds from the country’s Customs Service to private accounts.
