Police in Chile used water cannon to disperse hundreds of fishermen demonstrating in the port city of Valparaiso. Protesters disrupted traffic and threw stones and projectiles at officers. The fishermen gathered to voice their anger over the government's fisheries policy, which they claim favors larger fishing companies.
