Norway, Chile, Cuba and Venezuela, sponsors of the Colombian peace talks going on in Havana, have called for an end to violence despite a FARC-requested bilateral ceasefire. FARC negotiator Ivan Marquez said that the guerrilla group hopes this will be the shortest peace process in the world because as soon as legal obstacles and the push to submission are removed, the FARC is ready to sign an agreement. Victim reparations and FARC demobilization are currently being negotiated in the process. teleSUR
