Traffic policemen and pedestrians were involved in an eight-hour chase to recover escaped piglets in south China. More than 400 piglets escaped from their enclosure and ran wild when the truck they were being transported in rolled over because of a flat tire and the driver’s improper operation. Local traffic policemen cordoned off one side of the traffic, and called on the assistance of pedestrians and residents to help locate and drive the piglets back to safe places. The chase did not finish until noon when all of the piglets were transferred onto another truck.
