A record-setting 1,300-pound mako shark was caught off the coast of Huntington Beach in California, one of the biggest sharks in the world ever caught.
The fisherman caught the large mako shark with his friends as the event was being filmed ahead of a reality television show. The shark clocked in at a total 1,323 pounds, ranking in the top half percentage of all fishes ever caught.
