Pennsylvania teen Nicholas Helman was arrested on Wednesday for sending a ricin-laced scratch-and-sniff birthday card to another man.

Wellsboro-native Helman, 19, decided to seek revenge on his ex-girlfriend's new love interest by sending some ricin he cooked up in an envelope.

By the way, if you haven't watched Breaking Bad, ricin is that substance found in castor beans. The stuff can kill you in three days if you ever lick or inhale it.

Revenge is a dish best served cold, but the teen couldn't resist telling a co-worker at Target about his ricin plot. His co-worker obviously called the police who then got in touch with the victim. A hazmat squad intercepted the envelope containing the laced card from the mailbox at the victim's home. Inside was a scratch-and-sniff birthday card rubbed with the toxic powder.

Police turned up a large bottle of sodium hydroxide, castor beans and a ricin recipe in Helman's backpack, but the avenger claimed that he'd sent some sodium hydroxide because it resembled Anthrax.

Helman had previously been arrested once for assault on March 7, but was later released on bail.
