A Iowa teenager Logan Blake was found dead on Tuesday afternoon after being swept into a storm drain and traveled more than one mile in the pipe.

Blake was playing frisbee with his two friends near Arthur Elementary School after torrential rains on Monday evening. Blake was pulled into a sewer by flood water. His friend David Bliss tried to save him but also failed into the sewer. The third friend notify a pass-by to call 911.

After searching for all night Monday and Tuesday, firefighter found the 17-year-old about 75 yards from the bank of Cedar Lake. His body was found in about three feet of water.

His brave friend Bliss survived after traveling more than one mile in the pipe. He was injured but was able to walk to a hospital.

It's a mystery that why one of the boys survived after traveling in the pipe while the other didn't.

Blake's family members and friends gathered in Arthur Elementary School in Wednesday to remember the young boy.
