A woman who fled topless from a California Macy’s after being busted for shoplifting in June has turned herself in, police say.

According to police 45-year-old Jeannie Hua of Alhambra concealed merchandise inside her purse. When she tried to leave the store, a security officer tried to detain her.

As the officer grabbed Hua’s purse, she attempted to flee and somehow her shirt and bra came off, officials said.

Hua left the scene leaving behind her purse with all of her identification inside as well as the items she attempted to steal.

A witness also gave authorities her license plate number, police said.

Hua turned herself in on Monday. She faces one felony count of petty theft. She was booked and released on a $20,000 bail.
