Honduran activist Berta Cáceres has won the world's leading environmental award for her fight against the construction of the Agua Zarca dams, which could displace hundreds of indigenous families. The Goldman Environmental Prize was awarded on the same day that Honduras was listed as the most dangerous country in the world for environmental activists. Cáceres herself has been threatened due to her activities and at least three activists in her campaign have been killed. teleSUR
