Mexican teachers protest police repression in Acapulco

Mexican teachers took to the streets in several cities throughout the country to protest a police attack on Tuesday against a 4,000 strong demonstration in the Pacific Coast city of Acapulco. State riot police attacked the demonstration that was blocking access to the local airport. One teacher, Claudio Castillo was killed, dozens injured, and more than 100 detained. Teachers are demanding an investigation and punishment of those responsible. Clayton Conn reports from Mexico City. teleSUR
