Dissident teachers clashed with Mexican police in the state of Oaxaca on Saturday over education reform. The confrontation took place during a teachers' evaluation test as part of the educational reforms being implemented in the country. Protesters attempted to prevent other teachers from participating in the mandatory testing.They brought down police barricades and threw rocks at police, who responded by firing tear gas at the demonstrators.
