A police officer in Madison, Alabama has been arrested and will likely lose his job following a February 6th incident that left an Indian grandfather partially paralyzed.

The 57-year-old victim, Sureshbhai Patel, visiting his son from India was walking in the neighborhood where his son lives and that's when police stopped and approached him. The officers had responded to the scene after a 911 caller reported a "suspicious person" walking in driveways and looking in garages.

The two cops were attempting to get information from the man and asked him what he was doing in the neighborhood, but they were having difficulties due to a language barrier as he doesn't speak fluent English.

He was soon forced to the ground right as another cruiser pulled up to the scene.
