Surprisingly, I do a better job of evading the Nail Traps here. Maybe it was due to actually trying to time my crossing, or maybe it was just luck. Whatever the case, at least it allowed me to walk around the room and showcase it without dying in the process (something I was expecting to happen).

Putting two guns next to each other never looks good. A Thunderbolt added to the Water with the Grenade Launcher doesn't have that good of an appearance, plus it becomes too much of a control spot. I guess the one good thing is that there is another control spot beside a Red Armor. Basically, someone could hole up in there without any real risk due to the need to jump on 3 platforms to cross. Kill someone, take the medikits and Red Armor, return and kill. As the Elevator is one-way, it doesn't even help Rocket Jumpers.

So, there is a bunch of stuff in this level that can keep a player moving (due to the need for ammo or to survive a Quad armed player charging down the corridor). Still, that combination of Grenade Launcher and Thunderbolt leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

The good news is that most of the level goes in a circle, meaning it is good for Deathmatches. Beyond the Button, there is really no reason to hang around in the Nail Trap area.
