Police in Madera, California recently arrested a man who fell asleep in a restaurant's drive-through lane. The department released footage which was shot by officers.
In it, the suspect, identified as Phillip Rodriguez can be seen behind the wheel of a silver car which was stopped only feet away from the drive-through window. His head was slumped forward and initially he didn’t seem to have a clue that police cars were surrounding his sedan and an officer was recording him.
Once he woke up, he stepped outside the vehicle and attempted to complete a field sobriety test, however he had a very difficult time walking in a straight line.
Rodriguez had reportedly driven through the drive-through lane twice before falling asleep. Police arrested him on “suspicion of drunken driving.”
