Twelve people were killed on Wednesday (January 7)after three hooded individuals armed with Kalashnikovs and a rocket-launcher opened fire in the offices of French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo. Meanwhile, strongly condemning the horrific terror attack in France, US President Barack Obama directed his officials to provide any assistance needed to bring to justice perpetrators of such a "cowardly" and "evil" assault.
