When I say something outrageous, the first thing people do is say "what are you smoking?" I actually take offense to that, because when I was saying that, I was clearly not smoking. I am aware of the smoking diseases, and that smoking diseases can be harmful. If you guys can't tell, all of this is one giant smoking joke. I was overly analyzing a situation, which is common in comedy. Jason Stuart tells a smoking joke in this bit. And his smoking jokes are pretty darn good. His smoking jokes are focused on around his ability to do very good impersonations. He does an impersonation that sounds nothing like my father, who has smoked before. My dad quit early, but even before he smoked, he smoked. Now you are wondering how that is possible, well he told me stories when he would joke smoking. And I was like "what is joke smoking?" and he would explain to me that he would smoke on something called a candy cigarette. I knew smoking is bad for you, but smoking is bad for you if you have candy cigarettes? I love loopholes. Then I realized, there are other diseases you can get with the candy cigarettes...obesity, diabetes, and other health issues. Now it's basically a choice of picking your poison. All of that was jokes about smoking, these were not jokes smoking people might like, or who knows they may be jokes smoking people might like, regardless, these are still jokes about smoking.
