ANDREW BLAKEMORE - No Greater Love

To see the rising of the dawn
The fire of morning skies,
As day begins with you I know
My heart forever lies,
For now my passion burns so strong
And never shall it end,
No greater love have I for you
My dear eternal friend.

The flowers never smelt so sweet
Before you came to me,
Nor did the birds all sing so loud
With joy from every tree,
I feel so blessed to be alive
And breathe the morning air,
No greater love have I for you
No other could compare.

For now the winter's at an end
And spring has come again,
The colours flow so gracefully
Where once the land so plain,
Now filled with golden daffodils
That ring from every tier,
No greater love have I for you
I long to hold you near.

So take my hand and let us walk
Beneath the blossomed bowers,
For we can see the beauty there
And rest amongst the flowers,
Then listen to the songbirds sing
Their melodies divine,
No greater love have I for you
So proud to call you mine.
