The Great Ones eventually discover that they are not
At death's door the calculus of their lives change
My bleoved Uncle beyond blood taught me this
In history I read of others
For myself in quiet and gracious moments realize only love
Can truly play the triumphant center
No matter how many once cheered in the Platz.
