I only missed you by 2,300 years
Yet presume to deduce from your record
That you never learned how to relax
Which is a shame because having conquered all
There was so much instruction pleasure needed to give
If only you could have stilled your tumult
Long enough to have had a small taste
Of a peace that does not come from success.
